    SLCP – what is it?

    The Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) provides the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF) to capture accurate data about working conditions in global supply chains. It is our mission to reduce the time and money spent on social auditing with the aim of redeploying resources into improving working conditions.

    The CAF is a tool to measure working conditions in facilities and results in a high-quality verified data set that has no value-judgment or scoring. SLCP’s unique data hosting and sharing system allows facilities to share their verified data with a large number of stakeholders.

    The online training educates users on all aspects of the SLCP process and system in the form of seven e-learning modules. Click on the images below to learn more about the available courses.

    FOR FACILITIES

    FACILITY COURSE

    The Facility Course consists of seven modules. Three of these modules are key for you: Module 3 on the Data Collection Tool, Module 6 on the Gateway, and Module 7 on the Accredited Hosts. After completing Modules 3, 6 and 7 in the Facility Course, you will be awarded a certificate. On the certificate you will find a CODE that you will need to include on your Gateway facility profile. While only three modules are required, we highly encourage you to complete all seven to come to a full understanding of the SLCP process and system. The Facility Course is available in seven languages: English, Chinese, Turkish, Spanish, Bahasa, Vietnamese, and Portuguese. To enroll in the course, create an account on the training platform and select the Facility Course and your desired language(s) from the list of options.

    FOR ASPIRING VERIFIERS

    VERIFIER COURSE

    The Verifier Course is for individuals who are aspiring Verifiers. The course is available in English and consists of seven modules and a final exam. After completing all course requirements and obtaining a passing grade on the final exam, Verifier candidates will receive a certificate and be approved by the Verification Oversight Organization (VOO) to conduct SLCP verifications. To be enrolled in the Verifier Course, candidates must first apply to be a Verifier via the Verifier Application Page. The VOO manages course enrollment; only Verifier candidates who meet Verifier criteria will be enrolled.

    Verifier Body administrators (e.g. scheme managers, report reviewers, other admin staff, etc.) should create an account on the training platform and select the Verifier Body Manager Course from the list of options.

    FOR ASPIRING TRAINERS

    TRAINER COURSE

    The Trainer Course is for individuals who are aspiring trainers. The course is available in seven languages (English, Chinese, Turkish, Spanish, Bahasa, Vietnamese, and Portuguese) and consists of seven modules and eight train-the-trainer sessions and activities. After completing all course requirements, candidate trainers will receive a certificate and be approved to train facilities on SLCP. To be enrolled in the Trainer Course, candidates must first apply to be an SLCP approved trainer via the Trainer Application Form. SLCP manages course enrollment; only candidate trainers who meet trainer criteria will be enrolled.

    FOR BRANDS AND OTHERS

    GENERAL COURSE

    We welcome all SLCP stakeholders to complete the General Course, which consists of seven modules on all aspects of the SLCP process and system. Specifically, users will learn about SLCP, the ITC sustainability program, the Data Collection Tool, the verification process, quality control in the verification process, the Gateway, and Accredited Hosts. Users such as brand representatives, industry associations, agents, and anyone who wants to learn more about SLCP, this course is for you! The General Course is available in seven languages: English, Chinese, Turkish, Spanish, Bahasa, Vietnamese, and Portuguese. To enroll in the course, create an account on the training platform and select the General Course and your desired language(s) from the list of options.
